A letter was sent to the residents providing information regarding the new South Bay contract. Included with this letter is a fact sheet which provided information regarding the contract solicitation process and the rates proposed by other waste haulers showing UWS proposed the lowest rate. Attached is the letter and fact sheet for your reference.

Also, please note that seniors qualify for a 25% discount if they meet the following requirements: head of household, elderly (62 or older), and who either (a) qualify for utility rate discounts based on financial need or (b) generate small amounts of waste and use a 32-gallon cart for trash.

To further provide residents with information regarding the new South Bay contract, virtual community meetings have been scheduled, which are listed below. Letters with this information have been sent to the residents.
